GST Policy

Companies that engage in skill-based gaming currently pay 18% GST on platform fees. When a user joins a paid pot, they are charged the platform fee. However, starting on (date), the GST council has suggested applying a 28 percent GST to the full face value of player deposits. The council has suggested that GST be applied on deposits rather than each wager in order to prevent duplicate taxation.
